A BARN IN CHANGE

The traditional farming culture is changing, and as a result there are a growing amount of empty barns in our cultural landscape. These buildings represents an important part of our culture – and should be preserved. But preservation is of no good if we don't use it. This project aims to turn unused buildings into functional temporary housing with a minimum of effort from the owners. How can we offer accommodation to tourists that is authentic and adds a new experience of our rich culture and extraordinary nature?

Collaboration

The project is a collaboration between OPAform Architects, Bruket Architects and Per Finne Design
